A.You can open and fund your trading account today. Simply fill out an online application. We typically open new accounts in one business day.

Q?Do I have to make a minimum amount of trades?

A.All accounts enjoy no inactivity fees. We do not require a minimum number of executed trades each month.

Q?What is the minimum account size?

A.$1,000 USD is the minimum account size.

Q?Can I transfer an existing account to Discount Trading?

A.Simply fill out the transfer form contained in the online account application. All open positions and cash balances will transfer to Discount Trading. Please contact us if you have any questions about transferring your account.

Q?Do you accept foreign accounts?

A.We accept accounts from most countries. We open accounts from all over the world including Canada, Australia, Europe, Asia, and more.

Q?What if I need additional assistance?

A.No problem, we are available 24 hours / 6 days a week for technical assistance. Our VIP line is available for those that do not want a full service account, but need occasional experienced broker assistance (additional fees apply). We also offer a full-service trading program where you can choose to work one-on-one with a broker (additional fees apply).

Q?How do I add/withdraw funds?

A.You can login to your account 24/7 and add funds via ACH or withdrawal via wire/check. If your request is received by noon CT it will be processed the same business day.
