The TT trading platform is built using a software-as-a-service framework. TT requires no client-side software. All you need is Internet access, and you can begin trading in just minutes from anywhere on any device. You can create an account and start trading in our demo environment or contact Discount Futures to enable your account for real-time trading. TT provides multiple ways to access the platform. You can trade TT via mobile device, a single browser window, or on your Windows desktop in a multi-monitor configuration. Many traders like TT for its ability to utilize a multiple monitor configuration.
The TT Desktop is a downloadable application that supports multi-monitor workspaces and provides the highest level of performance for accessing the TT platform. The TT Desktop accesses the same back-end of the platform as TT through a browser and TT Mobile. It doesn’t matter which interface you use to access the TT platform, you use the same login and see all of your orders, fills, account status, and positions. TT is a local application that requires a one-time install onto your computer. The TT Desktop has been designed and optimized for desktop setups with multiple monitors. Traders can create large workspaces with multiple windows arranged on up to 16 computer monitors. TT’s multiple processor design allows TT Desktop to render prices at a faster rate and provide a great user experience with no degradation in software performance.
The Options Trade Monitor on the TT widget displays all real-time option and historical option trades that occur for a selected commodity or futures contract. By showing the trades for a product family, the Options Trade Monitor lets you easily see trades for all options associated with the selected product. The following Options Trade Monitor shows the trades for the CME ES family, which includes a variety of options (EW1, EW2, EW3, ES, etc.).
The Options Electronic Eye widget will display market data for all puts and calls of a selected commodity or futures contract and can also be configured to find trading opportunities based on your selected criteria. You can apply different filters based on price, quantity, volatility, Greeks and more. Once your filters are applied, the “electronic eye” will only display the puts and calls that meet your selected criteria. You can then quickly and easily trade any contract that is displayed on this board.
The TT Options Risk widget will display your open option positions. This widget shows the current position and Greek calculations at spot price. This widget also allows the position to be viewed for user-defined scenarios based on adjustments to the underlying instrument price or adjustments to global volatility (vix).
TT can integrate into a spreadsheet and establish communication between the trading application and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. Microsoft Excel linking, which will let you use the results of your spreadsheet calculations in TT widgets and Excel RTD, which will let you display live data from TT (market data, position, etc.) directly in your spreadsheet.

The TT software will provide a sample RTD spreadsheet that you can use as a template for creating your own spreadsheets. The sample spreadsheet shows how to define Excel formulas that retrieve instrument IDs (specific contracts), retrieve the trading instrument property values (contract high, last, low, etc.), and apply different filters.
The Chart widget gives you with the ability to enter orders directly from within the chart window. You can also monitor and interact with the markets by displaying fills and working orders directly on the chart widget. After you enable trading from within a chart, an order pane is shown on the side of the chart for easy access of placing trades. Bid and Ask price columns are also placed within the widget for quick and easy single-click order placement of futures contracts. Both filled and working orders are also visible from within this widget.
The trading platform offers numerous powerful drawing and charting tools to help you find bullish and bearish trends in the market.
Once you select a drawing tool, that particular tool is enabled until you select a different tool or select None from the Drawing Tools menu. You may also reset the chart and remove all drawings and lines by selecting Clear Drawings.
add a drawing tool, you can right-click in the widget and select on the Drawing Tool. To remove a drawing tool, select None.
Clear Drawings - Select Clear Drawing to delete all drawings from the chart.
Fibonacci - Selecting Fibonacci allows you to draw a grid that divides the selected area into Fibonacci ratios. Left-click the desired midpoint on the chart and move your cursor to align the grid into the desired position on the chart.
Horizontal - The Horizontal tool draws a straight horizontal line when you left-click a desired point on the chart.
Vertical - The Vertical tool draws a straight, vertical line when you left-click the desired point on the chart.
Continuous - When enabled, the Continuous tools allows you to draw multiple, connected line segments on the chart. Selecting a new tool will automatically delete the final line that was drawn on the chart.
Line - Left-click the desired midpoint on the chart to use the Line tool to draw a straight, continuous line that is centered on the selected midpoint.
Crosshairs - When enabled, the Crosshairs tool follow your cursor placement with an intersecting horizontal and vertical lines on the chart.
Annotation - You may add text-based notes anywhere on the chart by selecting Annotation from the Drawing Tools menu. Once the annotation is enabled, left-clicking the chart opens a text box that allows you to add and save the annotation.
Ray - The Ray tool allows you to draw a continuous line that begins at the point you left-click on the chart.
Segment - Use the Segment tool to draw a short line segment between two points on the chart.
Rectangle - Use the Rectangle tool to shade a rectangular region of the chart.
Ellipse - Left-click a midpoint to enable the Ellipse tool to draw an elliptical region centered around the selected point. Move your cursor to change the size and direction of the region.
This widget will display all real-time and historical trades that occur for a selected instrument. Information including the date, time, price, and quantity are displayed. Each trade is color-coded to indicate whether the trade was a result of a buyer or seller. You can configure each Time & Sales widget to display one or more instruments on one or more exchanges, and you can also specify certain quantities to only display. The widget keeps a running record of trades for a selected instrument and the trades are displayed in reverse chronological order inside a table.
